). The synovium shows reactive changes with increased cellularity and multilayering of synovial lining cells. The area within the black rectangle is shown after immunostaining with HMGIC-specific antibodies at higher magnification in Panel B (400 ). The immunoreactivity was localized to the cell nucleus of the synovial lining cells. Negative control was performed by omitting the primary antibody (C).
