Glomerular expression of interleukin 1
(IL-1
) and tumor necrosis factor-
(TNF-) mRNA demonstrated by RT-PCR 24 hours after induction of glomerulonephritis. The left hand panel shows heterozygous mice (N = 2) and the right hand panel NOS2 deficient mice (N = 3). For each mouse, and for each cytokine, two dilutions (1:5 and 1:15) of cDNA were used for PCR.
