ABOUT THE ISN
The International Society of Nephrology (ISN) is a not-for-profit society whose mission is the global advancement of nephrology. ISN promotes research and education to prevent and treat kidney disease throughout the world.
Since its foundation in 1960, ISN has attracted members from around the world who set the standard for patient care globally, and lead the fight for more effective treatments, increased worldwide collaboration in clinical and translational research, and, ultimately, cures for the renal and related diseases that strike millions of people around the world every year.
ISN reaches out to close to 30,000 nephrologists. Some 9,500 are individual members from over 100 countries (most of whom benefit from complimentary copies of KI as part of their membership). In addition, ISN closely collaborates with 72 national and regional nephrology societies around the world, representing an additional 20,000 professionals.
