Release of IL-1alpha and IL-8 from RHE cultures treated topically with various retinoid formulations. Triplicate RHE cultures were treated with various retinoid formulations and incubated for 3 days at 37°C. At the end of this incubation period, concentrations of IL-1alpha and IL-8 in the media were determined by ELISA. Values are meanplusminusSD, * P<0.05 (t-test) compared to untreated control.
