Number of NeuN-positive neurons within the hippocampal CA1 (A and B), CA3 (C), and CA4 (D) pyramidal layers and of NPY- and parvalbumin-positive neurons (E and F, respectively) in the dentate gyrus hilus at 1 week after 5 minutes (A) or 30 minutes (B through F) of ischemia in rats subjected to infusion of either Hu-Fc or TrkB-Fc.
