First Time Membership Applications
Timeline:
ISN Membership is valid for the calendar year (January 1 - December 31); applications are however welcomed throughout the year and access to the various ISN member benefits and services will be instated upon reception of payment.
New members who apply prior to October 1st will be sent all Journal editions dating back to January of that year. Applications received after that date will be activated as of January the following year.
Membership Fees:
Full Individual membership: US$ 175
Joint Membership: US$ 110
Member in training: US$ 50
Payment modalities:
In order to facilitate administrative burdens, ISN offers the possibility to apply and pay for a multi-year membership whereby the membership will run uninterrupted for as many years as the applicant wishes. Currently multi-year payment can only be accomodated through the below application form.
All dues are payable in US Dollars; payments are accepted via:
- Credit Card: VISA, American Express and MasterCard are accepted via our online application system or by filling out and submitting the below application form.
- Check: Checks should be made payable to the International Society of Nephrology. Payment via check is possible through the below application form.
- Wire transfer: Wire transfers need to clearly state the name of the member applicant in the reference field. The ISN bank details are located on the below application form.
Submitting a Membership Application:
Apply and pay online or download and submit the below membership application form either by regular mail, fax or e-mail (as a scanned document).
Joint member groups apply using the same application form whereby one person, designated as the 'Joint member contact' fills out the application form with his/her details and carries out the payment. The other group members are each requested to fill out the Contact Details Form.

Membership Renewals
We would like to thank you in advance for your continued support to our Society. Renewing your membership is indeed one of the most important contributions to global nephrology that you can make.
ISN strongly encourages members to renew their membership between September and January in order to enjoy an uninterrupted service regarding the journal subscriptions, as well as have continued access to the various other ISN member benefits.
Back issues of KI and NCPN (if applicable) will be sent to you via regular mail.
Membership Renewal Timeline:

September: Renewal communications and reminders are sent out as of September.
February: Subsequent fee increases are implemented between February and May.
May: Memberships that have not been renewed will be de-activated.
Membership Fees:
Early renewals enjoy the standard membership fee at a rate of US$ 175 (US$ 110 or Joint members and US$ 50 for members in training).
Three late renewal fee increases are implemented for between February and May.
