World Hypertension Day will be celebrated on May 17. The theme for this year is "Measure Your Blood Pressure-at Home".
More than 35 countries are expected to host public events such as free blood pressure screenings and information sessions to promote World Hypertension Day. As WHD falls on a Saturday this year, the organizers encourage everyone to celebrate the event during the entire week of May 12.
