Abstract
Editor's Note:Sexual medicine is unique in that it permeates throughout various medical specialties, without having its own defined borders. Urology, gynecology, primary care, endocrinology and cardiology are connected to sexual medicine to varying degrees. Should sexual medicine be a requisite part of the aforementioned teaching programs? Dr Martin Resnick, Lester Persky Professor and Chairman, Department of Urology, Case Western Reserve University, provides a perspective on this topic.
