Araneus diadematus web � The evolution of life has created astonishingly perfect designs, yet also allows for a controlled level of error, symbolised by this nearly perfect, but not flawless spider�s web. Having studied the genetics of mucopolysaccharidosis and retinitis pigmentosa in the past, the current interests of the photographer, Raf Vervoort, focus on inner ear defects in the mouse.
