Sunrise at Sunset Point � The large limestone spire known as �Thor�s Hammer� is one of the most popular landmarks of Utah�s Bryce Canyon National Park. If you manage to get down to the right place early enough in the morning, you can witness the sun rising behind the tip of the spire, its first rays producing a dramatic red glow from the walls of the surrounding amphitheatre. One attempt at capturing this special moment was made in the summer of 2006 by Volker Wiersdorff, using a Nikon D200 camera at 17 mm, f/5.6, 1/160 s.
