Introduction
The authors have discovered an error in the above article.
In the Materials and methods section under the subheading 'siRNA transfection', the two 'T's' at the end of the sequence of the ADAM10 siRNA belong to the spacer region and should therefore be deleted. The correct sequence should read 5' GACAUUUCAACCUACGAAU 3' (and not as it is currently stated: 5' GACAUUUCAACCUACGAAUTT 3').
Further, reference Lammich et al (1999) in the second paragraph of Discussion should be replaced by reference Hundhausen et al (2003).
