The cover image shows the main neural cell types generated from neurosphere cell cultures of SVZ postnatal progenitor cells, after 7 days in vitro. Neurons are labelled green with bIII-tubulin, oligodendrocytes appear red with O4. Blue colour (GFAP) labels astrocytes, and nuclear DAPI staining is represented in grey. The image is a wide field collage of a smaller image taken by Carlos M. Parras, an MRC Assistant Researcher at the National Institute of Medical Research, London, UK.
