Cover. Female Broadbill Hummingbird (Cyanthus latirostris) photographed in the wild at Madera Canyon in Arizona, USA. This species has a narrow range restricted to the mountainous region south of Tucson, Arizona. Multiple flashes were used to 'freeze' the wing action. The photographer, Graham Guy, is a Principal Investigator of the Signal Transduction Laboratory at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Singapore. Canon EOS1N, 300 mm lens, 1/200, f16.
