Cover. Tropical rain forest at Mt Kinabalu National Park, Malaysia. Tropical rain forests constitute rich biological resources for future generations and might well hold drugs to be discovered against many diseases. Freddy Frischknecht works at the Pasteur Institute on the cell biology of malaria parasites and hopes to establish novel screening methods that would enable the discovery of new drugs.
