Cover. Family of Cross (Silver, Red) foxes (Vulpes vulpes). Photographed in Minnesota, USA. The male fox relaxes in front of the den with his two cubs. This highly adaptable species is widespread throughout the Northern Hemisphere, with a range that includes Arctic tundra and European city centres. The photographer, Graeme Guy, is a Principal Investigator of the Signal Transduction Laboratory at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Singapore. Canon EOS1N, 500mm, 1/100, f11, with 550EX flash.
