Cover. 'Purple Crested Lourie', an original watercolour by Hans J.Geuze. The subject is a common fruit-eating bird sketched in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa in 1997. The artist is a Senior Research Professor in Cell Biology at the University Medical Center in Utrecht, The Netherlands. His research concerns intracellular protein transport and sorting, using cryo-immunogold electron microscopy.
