Developing a Protocol for a Review

This workshop is run by the UK Cochrane Centre Training team. It is aimed at authors who are working on or planning to start work on a protocol. The day focuses on small group work, where individuals will have the opportunity to work with the detail of their review question, including the intervention, participants and outcome. Introduction to Analysis

International Centre for Evidence-Based Oral Health Intensive 4-day Course in Systematic Reviews

This intensive course in systematic reviews for clinical and nonclinical professionals will be held at the International Centre for Evidence-Based Oral Health of the University College London Eastman Dental Institute (www.eastman.ucl.ac.uk/iceboh). It is limited to 10 participants and is aimed at those who have not yet conducted a systematic review or those engaged in a review who seek supervised guidance. Medical Statistics: Making a Difference in Health Care

The Centre for Statistics in Medicine was established in Oxford in September 1995 and for the last 10 years the principal tenet of the work has been to promote the awareness and application of appropriate statistical methods in medical research. Eight key-note speakers will provide an opportunity to reflect on the impact that the profession of medical statistics has had on medical research as a whole. The day will be enjoyed by individuals from either medical or statistical backgrounds. The course will be based at Magdalen College.
