Polio defence plan back on track
Rumour-mongers bow to vaccination campaign.
Thequest to rid the world of poliomyelitis is going ahead, after fears that anti-vaccine stories would scupper eradication plans have been laid to rest.
Earlier this year, mass vaccination campaigns began in Nigeria, Niger, Afghanistan, India, Egypt and Pakistan, which are the six countries where polio is still endemic.
