Catch up with glaciologist Matt Siegfried as he answers your questions about what it's like working in one of the most remote places on Earth, the Ross Ice Shelf in Antarctica.
Join Nature for a chat about life on the ice in Antarctica. Glaciologist Matt Siegfried is in Antarctica with the ROSETTA-Ice project, to study the Ross Ice Shelf — a glacier the size of France that has flowed off the Antarctic continent and now sits over the ocean. Scientists are studying the glacier to learn how it has reacted to climate change in the past, and how it might change with future warming.
You can pre-register above for the chat, and catch up with Matt's “Ice Diary” blog.
