Electrically conductive Langmuir–Blodgett films of charge-transfer materials

Abstract

The Langmuir–Blodgett technique allows the controlled layer-by-layer deposition of ordered molecular films. When such films are fabricated from charge-transfer compounds, they can be electrically conducting, and may find applications in thin-film molecular electronic devices.
