The Third Horseman takes wing

Abstract

The identification of a Drosophila homologue of the nematode cell-death protein CED-4 indicates a role for the apoptosome — a complex consisting of CED-4, CED-3 and CED-9 — in developmental cell deaths in Drosophila.
