Mucosal Immunology is a bimonthly journal dedicated solely to the advancement of mucosal immunology research and practice. This is a brand new journal from Nature Publishing Group (NPG) and the Society for Mucosal Immunology (SMI), which launches in January 2008. The official journal of the Society for Mucosal Immunology, it is committed to providing a forum for both basic and clinical scientists to discuss all aspects of immunity and inflammation involving mucosal tissues. The journal will publish original research articles, scholarly reviews, timely commentaries, editorials and letters. Publication of basic, translational and clinical studies will also all be given equal consideration.
