About the editors

Editor: Olive Heffernan
Olive Heffernan is the Editor of Nature Reports: Climate Change. Following a PhD in Fisheries Ecology from University College Dublin, Olive moved to the UK as a postdoctoral scientist to continue her work on Northeast Atlantic cod stocks. Her long-standing interest in the broader issues surrounding science made her jump ship in 2004 from research to science journalism. She has since picked up a fellowship and award for reporting on ocean sciences. Olive wrote freelance and was Editor of The Marine Scientist magazine and Associate Editor of the Journal of Offshore Technology before joining Nature Publishing Group in 2007.

Assistant Editor/Copy Editor: Anna Barnett
Anna Barnett joined Nature Reports: Climate Change as Assistant Editor/Copy Editor in in November 2007 after two years copy editing for Nature research journals based in New York. She earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Oregon, where she researched bacterial gene expression and edited a student literary journal. Her interest in human-powered transportation has gained several new dimensions from its transfer to the narrow, twisting streets of London.
