Foreword
The 2004 International Society for Cancer Gene Therapy (ISCGT) Meeting was held in Singapore on the 21 and 22 February, 2004. The major aims of the conference were to review cutting edge research on the design and development of vectors, both viral and non-viral, for the delivery of genetic information to cells, and to address forthcoming challenges for cancer gene therapy.
A total of thirty international renowned researchers in the field of cancer therapeutics were invited as speakers for the conference and four main topics were covered:
- Gene Therapeutics
- Viral vectors
- Cellular therapy for cancer
- Non-viral vectors
All abstracts of the invited speakers along with abstracts that were accepted and presented at the conference were printed.
The main sponsors of the Meeting were the National Cancer Centre, Singapore and A* Star Biomedical Research Council of Singapore.
