Dia-induced apoptosis in G6pdDelta ES cells proceeds through the mitochondrial pathway. (a) G6pdDelta ES cells were treated with 150 muM Dia for 30 min and then collected at the indicated time points. Cytosolic fractions were analysed by Western blot for the presence of cytochrome c or for the cleavage of caspase-9. (b) G6pdDelta and G6pdDeltapBclXL ES cells were treated for 30 min with 150 muM Dia. After 8 h, cells were harvested and extracts were analysed by Western blotting for PARP and caspase-3 cleavage
