Abstract

For patients lacking a suitable matched related donor, unrelated cord blood transplantation (UCBT) has emerged as a valid alternative with many advantages such as easy procurement and acceptable toxicity even with partial HLA mismatches. We report here our experience at King Faisal Specialist Hospital Research Center (KFSHRC) of 63 patients who underwent partially matched UCBT.
