BJP Celebrates the 2008 Beijing Olympics
To celebrate the forthcoming Olympic games in Beijing, we have translated abstracts from the recent BJP Themed Issue on Drugs in Sport into Mandarin. This themed section has been edited by Ian McGrath and David Cowan and contains 11 review articles covering the mechanisms of action of the major groups of drugs that are used illicitly in sport.

To establish strong links with pharmacologists in China, a team of senior British pharmacologists recently visited several centres of excellence in basic and clinical pharmacology to learn about their work and to provide information about the work of the BPS and its journals. The team gave presentations and information packs on the journals and the work of the BPS.
