TOOTH ART SERIES: SMILING FACE SCULPTED IN STONE BY HIROTOSHI ITO

The cover images in volume 214 of the journal showcase various forms of tooth art from all over the world. This issue features 'Smiling face sculpted in stone' by Japanese artist Hirotoshi Ito. Hirotoshi Ito is a stone sculptor whose work is known for its unique structure and sense of humor. Ito collects his art supplies along river banks near his studio in Matsumoto City (Nagano Prefecture) and his work is focused on optimising the stone's original shape. He is honoured when his pieces make people laugh.
