NETHERLANDS, 1954: CHILD BRUSHING HIS TEETH The cover images in volume 210 of the Journal feature dentally-themed postage stamps from around the world. Issued by The Netherlands as part of a child welfare set in 1954, the stamp on this issue's cover features a child brushing his teeth. It is one of the earliest stamps depicting dentistry.
