'Old Glory': Examination of the dentition reveals that this is, indeed, an 'optimal' occlusion. There is a perfect buccal interdigitation, overjet and overbite. These aims were modified by the concepts of Andrews who introduced the 'six keys of occlusion' (see Fig. 1b)
