Abstract
The November 2001 issue of Which, the magazine of the Consumers' Association (CA), contains a short story headlined 'Private dentists to get a drilling over prices'. I am not always comfortable about the reports that Which publishes on dentistry, especially when a number of different dentists are criticised for suggesting different treatment options, but this time I feel they have a legitimate point to make.
