The British Dental Journal (BDJ) is an international journal that publishes papers, letters, book reviews, news items and obituaries. Papers are ordinarily peer reviewed and letters and news items are checked for accuracy. More information about these processes can be found by clicking on the links below. Papers: Scientific research papers focusing on clinical research in dental practice and allied research topics, Practice papers and Case Reports dealing with matters relevant to all areas of dental practice, Educational papers from the viewpoint of all areas of dental education, and Opinion papers expressing views that will both inform and stimulate debate.

Letters to the Editor: for individual news, views and opinion.
