Archive

Online archive of NPG journals. Access any journal's homepage for a link to that journal's archive (left-hand-side navigation bar). Bioentrepreneur

Nature Publishing Group's portal dedicated to scientists interested in commercializing their research. This site is intended to demystify the business, and help to orientate, educate, and inspire potential scientific entrepreneurs for the challenges ahead.

Cell migration gateway

A comprehensive and regularly updated resource for anyone interested in cell migration. This gateway is a unique collaboration between the Cell Migration Consortium and Nature Publishing Group, and is designed to facilitate navigation through the complex world of cell migration research.

Not only an online reference management tool, but a way to share, discover and innovate. Keep all your bookmarks in one place so you can access them from any computer.

Debates

Functional glycomics gateway

A comprehensive and regularly updated resource for functional glycomics research. This gateway represents a unique collaboration between the Consortium for Functional Glycomics (CFG) and Nature Publishing Group (NPG). It is designed to provide up-to-date information and resources for research aimed at elucidating the roles of glycan-protein interactions in cell surface biology.

GI motility online

A unique, comprehensive resource on the motility of the gastrointestinal tract. In-depth review articles, easily-assimilable overviews, case studies for self-learning, and 'how to' carry out important motility investigations.

History of Nature

Not only a useful resource in itself, but a celebration of Nature's early archive back to the first issue of 4 November 1869. Contains a selection of the 'best of Nature', biographies of the journal's Editors from the first issue to the present day, interactive timelines, selections from the book A Century of Nature, and more.

ISN Nephrology gateway

A pioneering collaboration between the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and Nature Publishing Group, designed as a 'one stop' information portal. This single point of access provides the latest news on kidney and related diseases, research developments, treatment updates, educational resources, ISN member information and services, and much more.

Multimedia

From here you can view new moons of Pluto and ancient humans via Nature's website for video streaming, and access our popular weekly podcast that digests the best news and research of the week in science. You can also download programs like Nature's Avian Flu mashup, which uses Google Earth to track outbreaks of the H5N1 virus around the globe, and find links to blogs and other interactive multimedia in our special online features and web focuses.

Nature blogs

Join the conversation with us via our thriving editor and other NPG staff blogs on chemistry, methods, neuroscience, cancer, genetics, climate science, medicine, systems biology and stem cells. Discover and discuss topical issues in science-related news, web publishing, authorship and peer-review. Comment on the weekly selections in Nature's journal club blog.

Nature China

Provides an archive of short summaries of some of the best research articles in all scientific and medical disciplines published from mainland China and Hong King since 2000. The editors select recently published research and provide a summary of the results. Users can recommend papers to be included in Nature China and vote/comment on those suggestions.

Nature India

A one-stop site for information on Indian science. The website, serving the scientific community of the world’s largest democracy, provides information on jobs, events, the best research and science news from India. Through in-depth features and commentaries, leading members of the scientific community, scientists and journalists reflect on contemporary issues affecting Indian science. It also provides free access to some content from NPG journals.

Nature Milestones

Nature Milestones highlight key discoveries that have shaped different scientific fields and enable the wider recognition of these classic findings that are often recognized only by those in the field.

Nature Network

Nature Network is the online meeting place for you and fellow scientists to gather, discuss and find out about the latest scientific news and events. Nature Network contains many groups, forums and blogs for discussion of all types of scientific and science publishing-related issues, some run by Nature Publishing Group editors and other staff, but most by users. They are all free. Scientists can also benefit from interactions at the local level. Would you like to blog? Nature Precedings

A place for researchers to share pre-publication research, unpublished manuscripts, presentations, posters, white papers, technical reports, supplementary findings and other scientific documents. Submissions are screened by our professional curation team for relevance and quality, but are not subjected to peer review. We welcome high-quality contributions from biology, medicine (except clinical trials), chemistry and the earth sciences. More details about Nature Precedings.

Nature Publishing Group Language Editing

An English language editing service for all researchers preparing papers for publication in English-language journals. Our focus is on improving the clarity and sense of the manuscript, so that the results stand out. Use of the service is at the author’s expense and in no way implies that the article will be selected for peer review or accepted by an NPG journal or any other journal.

Nature Reports Climate Change

Covers the news behind the science and the science behind the news of global climate change, arguably the most far-reaching challenge of this century. The free-to-access site is dedicated to authoritative, in-depth reporting on climate change and its wider implications for policy, society and the economy. Nature Reports Stem Cells

Brings all the science and news about stem cells to your desktop. Access is free to all. Register for the monthly newsletter. Pathway interaction database 

An authoritative, peer-reviewed collection of information about biomolecular interactions that take place in human cells.  This publication has a particular focus on signalling pathways, and is aimed at cell biologists, biochemists, computational biologists and bioinformaticians. The database provides a range of intuitive tools to allow users to easily search, view and download data, and complex queries can be created to construct pathways that connect large user-defined sets of molecules.

Podcasts

Nature's popular weekly podcast on science, together with a range of special podcasts on systems biology, stem cells, chemistry, heredity and more. They are all free.

SciBX

Science Business Exchange (SciBX) is a weekly publication that allows readers to efficiently identify and evaluate new developments in science and technology that have commercial and investment potential within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical arena.
