Thames Valley Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of the remains of a man being found in a rural area near Bracknell.

The investigation team is seeking help from people in the dental community who may be able to assist in identifying this Caucasian male.

He had distinctive dental work which we understand is quite unusual:

  • The male has had 7 veneers – this work was completed for cosmetic reasons as the teeth are in good order. The veneers are on the front upper teeth. There is no sign that an 8th veneer was ever applied

  • One of the veneers has been damaged (chipped) and subsequently repaired

  • It is believed that original application of the veneers and the subsequent repair work was carried out by different dentists

  • In general his teeth are in good condition with moderate wear with several fillings.

Left is an illustrative diagram of the teeth that have been veneered.

If you recall undertaking this work on any individual who may fit this description, please contact Detective Sergeant 306 Paul Quinton via the Non Emergency Police number 101 quoting reference Op Neuron/URN 916 24/07/2015 or by paul.quinton@thamesvalley.police.pnn.uk quoting the same reference.
