We read carefully the letter written by Dr Lontos1 regarding our recently published retrospective study on the role of positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) in primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma (PMLBCL) responding to R-CHOP,2 raising certain methodological questions. Generally, we would underline that this was a retrospective study, and, as such, it may have the limitations that this type of studies inherently bear.
