Abstract
THE application of digital computers to tidal problems has revived interest in tides, including the problem of the numerical tidal modelling of estuaries or bays in one or two dimensions. Usually computer programs have been designed to find a solution for one tidal constituent, the M2 tide, and are applicable only to specific estuarine systems. We report here a two dimensional program which can easily be used to solve semidiurnal tidal problems for many estuaries.
