Percentage Number of Nonthermal Sources in the Northern and Southern Halves of the Galaxy

Abstract

COMPARISONS1,2 of continuum spectral indices with the presence or absence of radio recombination lines show that virtually all sources with no recombination lines have steep spectral indices, that is, are nonthermal.
