Role of Host RNA Polymerase in Phage Development: Continual Requirement for a Host RNA Polymerase Component in a Bacteriophage Development

Abstract

These two communications present results which suggest that the transcription of the entire genome of phages T4 and SPO1 requires host RNA polymerase, or at least those components of it which are sensitive to rifamycin.
