Abstract
THE polar lipid fractions from blue-green algae are usually simpler than those from higher algae and leaves, and normally contain only those four acyl lipids that are commonly associated with chloroplasts, namely, mono-and di-galactosyl diglyceride, sulphoquinovosyl diglyceride and phosphatidyl glycerol1,2. Occasionally, other components are reported1,3.
