Abstract
PREVIOUS reports from this laboratory have shown that the electrophoretically fast lactate dehydrogenase isoenzymes, LD1 and LD2, of human and animal tissues exhibit high activity with 3.3 mM 2-oxobutyrate as substrate relative to that with 0.7 mM pyruvate1,2.
