Abstract
THE action of numerous inorganic and organic substances on the growth of bacteria has been investigated in the hope of demonstrating properties useful either in the laboratory for selective and enrichment methods for isolation, or clinically for the treatment of the diseases which they cause. Record has not been found in bacteriological literature of the use of oximes in such an investigation.
