Abstract
THE following chromatographic separations of simple peptides have been reported in the last few years: fractionation of arginyl peptides on acid earths1, partition chromatography of acetyl peptides on columns of silica gel2, partition of free peptides on columns of starch3, partition on two-dimensional paper chromatograms of a partial hydrolysate of gramicidin S 4 and of peptides of urine5, and separations of synthetic peptides on columns of carbon by displacement analysis6.
