Abstract
IN a comprehensive joint investigation of the action of various compounds upon the growth of experimental tumours, attention was paid to that heterogeneous class of substances which have from time to time been reported as producing effects upon the mitotic cycle (“le syndrome mitoclasique”1) either in animals or plants.
